Dusk to Dawn is a programmatic work that takes the listener through the various colors of the night. Dusk is a mysterious, dark piece that leads into Darkness, a fast, energetic piece that through the effective use of dissonance conveys the mood of night. Dawn - A New Day starts with a mellophone solo and pit ballad that leads into the majestic melody that concludes with an energetic ending.
